Our team is led by Dr. Katie A. Viljakainen, born and raised in Chatsworth, Ontario.

She earned a 4 year Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating summa cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, preceded by holding an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo.
To further her understanding of human movement and well-being, she completed an immersive 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program through Koontenay Yoga School in Isla Mujeres, Mexico.
She is a certified acupuncture provider through McMaster University, whose program focuses on treating musculoskeletal conditions.
With a genuine passion for improving the lifestyles of all her patients, Dr. Viljakainen understands that every body is unique, which is why your care plan is developed with your needs, preferences, and goals in mind. To support this personalized approach, our team offers a range of therapies—all under one roof.

Throughout her career, she has cared for a wide range of patients—from families, tradespeople, desk workers, and aspiring athletes, to expectant mamas-to-be, infants, and older adults managing chronic joint-related conditions.
Her inclusive practice reflects both her versatility and her commitment to personalized, compassionate care.

Dr. Viljakainen is passionate about helping others feel their best and takes great joy in caring for the community she calls home. In her spare time she enjoys studying various subjects in biology, human movement and biomechanics, rucking, camping, working out, playing with puppies, exchanging questionable puns, and experimenting in the kitchen.
